Sandra Schär Chiper

Sandra Schär Chiper was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1970.

She grew up in Switzerland and came into contact with dance through her career as a figure skater. At the age of 14 she began her training in dance in Switzerland and at the Iwanson Dance School in Munich. From 1991-1994 she took a training course at the Rotterdam Dance Academy. In 1995 she entered P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. Additionally, Sandra worked as freelance dancer and choreographer in Belgium and Switzerland and choreographed for high level competitive figure skaters.

2016 together with her husband Gheorghe Chiper, they opened the dance school, Tanz+ Zwicky, outside of Zurich, Switzerland.

She is founding member of the “Unity Dance Principals” Association (2021).
